Freezing Cooked Rice

When cooking rice I always make extra so that I can freeze it for later.
Wait until it has cooled and store the rice in freezer zip lock bags.
When you are ready to use it, you can add it directly to the recipe you are making, steam it on the stove with a steamer, or if you wish, you can use the microwave oven. If you do use the microwave, add a couple of teaspoons of water before you reheat.
